When Martin Luther King Jr. said this in his speach the people that he was speaking to claped and they claped because they undestood what he ment that when they get all the rights they deserve than they would be in better terms with every one they wouldn't have avy of the sagragation and racism. They would all be ok with each other.
What i think about this qoute is that he was right that the day when people stop sagragation will come and that we should all be doing something about it. If we all help to stop this racism than we would all be able to live together in peace and noone would be sacred because other people say and we would all have equal rights there wont be any problem and we could do as MLK said we can hold hands no matter what the color of your skin is.

What happens to a forgotten dream?
Does it melt up
like an ice cream on the floor?
Or crack open like an iceburg
And then fall?
Doest it smell like rotten eggs?
Or sweet
like chocolate
Maybe it stinks
like a diaper
Or does it destroy

Yea we should be able to come together and fight for the same thing wiff a variety of colored people. Martin Luther King Jr's speech is so powerful I amazed it cause so much change. Your poem i liked when you said it smells like a diaper lol
We could work to help stop segregation but do you really rhink this will happen one day? Now because of what MLK did we share and live among African Americans and share ideas. LOLZ a like ur poem n the part where ur dream could smell like dirty diapers :) now that would atop someone from keep goin on with theri dreams.
